| These are just a few pictures of a lane in Brightlingsea. Years ago it would have gone from Arlesford down to the creek then through a tidal ford and on up to Brightlingsea church. Now the ford isn't passable due to the amount of silt or mud. Locals have said they last remember a car crossing the ford back in the 70's. Its a real shame as this would be a nice short route to our friends. This lane is a very easy drive and is fine to drive with a single vehicle. Just don't try to cross the ford ok. |
